Chinese apps banned in India: Official Announcement:-The IT Ministry has given a public statement on pib.gov.in with respect to the official restriction on 59 portable applications in India expressing them to be "biased to power and trustworthiness of India, resistance of India, security of state and open request". "The Ministry of Information Technology, summoning it's capacity under area 69A of the Information Technology Act read with the pertinent arrangements of the Information Technology (Procedure and Safeguards for Blocking of Access of Information by Public) Rules 2009 and considering the rising idea of dangers has chosen to square 59 applications ( see Appendix) since taking into account data accessible they are occupied with exercises which is biased to power and trustworthiness of India, guard of India, security of state and open request."
